You're too kind
Is kindness good? Always? And if not, when not?
Is there a limit to how much kindness helps? Might offering kindness - and especially too much kindness discourage self-sufficiency and learning? Think bubble-wrap, snow-plough (lawn mower), helicopter parenting.
It is sometimes said that one must be cruel to be kind. Or stated another way, some people need a bit of tough love. Is that true? When? And what are the limits?

How do we allocate our kindness? Are there any obligations on to whom we ought to offer kindness - e.g., the most deserving, those close to us, those who will gain the most?
Is there some point where we might legitimately stop offering kindness. Jesus: "You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me." (John 12:8, Matthew 26:11, Mark 14:7)
